Producing high quality sound or in the case of Linn, delivering the reproduced sound on an emotional level as the artist intended you to hear it, is what investing in a Linn Hi-Fi system is all about!
Every element of the system relies on being fed the signal from the source in its purest most detailed form. Once this has been achieved the final destination for that sound is our ears! You don't hear any other part of the delivery system apart from maybe the initial whir when you place a CD in the drawer, why even Digital is taking care of that one for us!
The components we rely on are the Loudspeakers, it's through them that the signal is magically transformed into a beautiful sound, rich and true to the recording. You could be forgiven for getting lost in Verdi, tied up in the Rolling Stones, or drifting off to Pink Floyd when you experience them all through a pair of Linn Loudspeakers.
I don't like to admit to being an Audiophile as I just don't like being given a label of any description, but I can confirm as someone 'highly demanding' in listening to quality sound that a listening to music through Linn Loudspeakers is nothing short of utopia! Forget the world for a while and let the sound take you away to a place you should be, a place that's worthy of the wise investment you have made. If I had anything to do with the Linn Marketing Department direct, I would be the guy pushing towards marketing them as relaxation tools! No really they are that good.
I can't at this time vouch for matching Linn Loudspeakers with any other brand of amp or source, but I can say that Linn with Linn is a pure pleasure and a total winner.
If you're one of many, myself included, that's been searching for years for the perfect sound and never quite found it. You know walking round the lounge hand on chin, eyebrow raised head shaking, thinking 'it's good but hmmm there's just something missing' then you have to have to have to invest in your 1st Linn system including Linn Loudspeakers!
The transformation of your music has to be heard to be believed! I can assure you that no more will you pace the lounge and all conversations with friends will be positive and not 'how you could just add something on to improve that slight flat spot then maybe just maybe.' No forget all that, listening to your favourite music delivered by Linn Loudspeakers is like falling in love, some Audiophiles' may say it's better than falling in love, but remember I'm a 'highly demanding' listener so I say, do it, invest in some and fall in love as often as you want.
